Trolling Fishing Reel
What is a good reel to use for trolling.?
One large enough to hold a decent length of 27 pound test lead core line. I usually lake fish. Reel must have a line out clicker and also would you recommend a level wind reel? I have been considering an Abu Garcia but have no opinion on the size. Thanks
You dont want to use a level wind with lead core, it'll wear the guide in no time. AVET is my favorite. Made in USA with USa made parts. Excellent warrantee. I have 4 and they are literally bomb proof. NO PLASTIC.

Tuna are huge and delicious saltwater game fish. Tuna fishes are large in size and hence many enjoy fishing as it is a big game fishing target. There are many types of tuna fishes: * Albacore * Black fin * Skipjack * Blue fin * Yellow fin These tuna fishes are mostly captured in coastal estuary waters and also offshore. In order to go for tuna fishing, a lot of information must be gathered such as recent fish counts reported by other captains, popular fishing locations which have been producing numerous hookups, current water surface temperature and the weather must be continually monitored.
One of the best methods for tuna fishing is trolling. Trolling is done with feather jigs, miniscule squid imitations, live or fresh dead bait and even hard bodied lures. Any layman having minimal amount of experience with fishing must know trolling where eight or more fishing lines, baited with lures or bait fish are drawn through the water behind a moving boat.
