what rig to use for fluke with saltwater rod.?

hey i have this kind of rod and wanna fish for fluke what bait and rig should i use? i use like 25pound line and 3500 diwa reel and i can buy some worms for fluke and i have 3.5g jig head with some platic grub worms.

Hi Eric, I have been pulling in a few sole in the boat this year so far. Dragging the small grubs along the bottom should catch you a few, but I have been catching them using side-stripped shrimp for bait. Needle- fish work great for bait if you can get a hold of some. I use a double leader, weight heavy enough to stay still on the bottom, small circle, or treble hook. I have a couple of honey holes for sole up here on the North Vancouver Island area. I go for em at high tide and try to fish em in about 20ft of water and less. The tides have been running about 15ft right now, during low tide there's not much water on the flats where I fish for them. As the water rises the fluke move in to feed on these shallows. 40yr exp
