I am dock fishing on a river, what are some striped bass recommendations for this situation?

Many people catch stripers ( striped bass) here i just want to know an effective bait or lure
This is on the york river VA,

live shad under floats buck tail spoons big mack or rapala which state ,??, live brim or small rough fish good open face fresh line weighted corks
