What type of Bottom Feeder should I get?

I want to get a Gold Claw Crab or a Black Coolie Loach. I have a 29 Gallon aquarium and the gravel is kinda big too. The tank mates are 3 guppies and some platies. Which one should I get? Thanks

A crab will kill and eat your guppies while they are trying to sleep. The khuli loach would be better. I'm not sure the khuli loach is an ideal solution, but it's better than a crab! Frankly, I'd go with a small species of pleco, like a clown pleco, rubber mouth or bristle nose pleco instead of either of those two. Khuli loaches can get large and rambunctious enough to harass guppies and platies.
